ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for the Town of Ocean View, Berzins Nature Park & Trail, Project Number

OVPZ&D 26-07 will be received by the Town Manager of Ocean View until 11:00 AM, lo-

cal time, on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Office of the Administrative Official,

Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building, 201 Central Ave, 2nd Floor, Ocean View, Delaware

19970, at which time they will be opened, read, and recorded.

The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials for Berzins Nature Park & Trail

and other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the

plans, and as directed by the Engineer in the Incorporated Town of Ocean View.

Interested Contractors may obtain an electronic copy of the Contract Documents during normal

working hours by contacting Kristen Powell, at kpowell@oceanviewde.gov. A copy of the bid

documents will be emailed to interested parties.

A pre bid meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The meeting

will be held at 201 Central Ave, 1st Floor Meeting Room, Ocean View, Delaware 19970. This pre

bid meeting is MANDATORY.

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be marked clearly as follows: Sealed Bid

Ocean View – Berzins Nature Park & Trail, OVPZ&D 26-07. A 10% Bid Bond is required.

The Town of Ocean View reserves the right to reject any or all bids and make such award as

appears most advantageous to the Town.
