Description
The Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing (DIAL) is responsible for the approval of Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Programs (NATCEP). Presently, NATCEP written and skills assessments are administered through community colleges across the state. To enhance workforce availability in the healthcare sector, particularly among certified nursing assistants (CNAs), the state of Iowa seeks to expand testing platforms to improve accessibility and better serve the needs of CNA candidates and their employers.
