1. PURPOSE

Emanuel County Schools is requesting sealed proposals from qualified vendors for the demolition, removal, disposal, furnishing, delivery, and installation of new motorized telescoping gymnasium bleachers at Swainsboro Middle School.

The intent of this solicitation is to obtain a complete turnkey installation that meets or exceeds the specifications contained herein.

2. PROJECT LOCATION

Swainsboro Middle School

200 Tiger Trail

Swainsboro, Georgia 30401

3. SCOPE OF WORK

The successful proposer shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the project.

The project shall include, at a minimum:

• Removal of existing telescoping bleachers.

• Disposal of all removed materials.

• Delivery of new bleacher system.

• Installation of new bleacher system.

• Manufacturer's warranty.

• Final inspection and operational testing.

• Owner training on operation and maintenance.

4. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

The proposed bleacher system shall meet or exceed the following minimum requirements.

General

• Telescoping gymnasium bleacher system

• Approximately 74 feet 11 inches overall width

• At least twelve (12) rows of seating

• Minimum seating capacity of approximately 450 spectators

• ADA compliant in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations

• Recoverable ADA seating

Seating

• Individual seat modules (polypropylene or equal)

• Standard manufacturer's color selections

• Color(s) to be selected by Emanuel County Schools

• Durable corrosion-resistant construction

Safety

System shall comply with:

• ICC 300 Standard for Bleachers

• Applicable IBC requirements

• ADA Accessibility Guidelines

• Georgia State Building Code

• All applicable OSHA safety requirements

Operation

System shall:

• Extend and retract smoothly

• Include locking mechanisms

• Include required aisle and row markings

• Include end curtains or safety closures as required by manufacturer

5. OPTIONAL PRICING

Provide separate pricing for the following options:

Option A

Increase seating capacity to approximately 500 spectators (13-row system or equivalent).

6. INSTALLATION

The contractor shall:

• Coordinate installation with Emanuel County Schools.

• Protect existing flooring and surrounding finishes.

• Repair any damage caused during installation.

• Remove all debris daily.

• Leave the site clean and ready for occupancy.

7. WARRANTY

Provide:

• Manufacturer's standard warranty

• Installation warranty (minimum one year)

• Documentation of all warranties

8. SUBMITTALS

Each proposal shall include:

• Company qualifications

• Experience installing telescoping bleachers

• References from at least three K-12 school projects

• Product literature

• Shop drawings

• Seating capacity

• Warranty information

• Proposed project schedule

• Total project cost

• Optional pricing

9. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS

The contractor shall:

• Be licensed to conduct business in Georgia.

• Maintain required insurance.

• Have successfully completed similar projects.

• Utilize factory-trained installers.

10. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Contractor shall provide certificates of insurance including:

• General Liability

• Workers' Compensation

• Georgia E-Verify affidavit requirements

• Contractor and subcontractor affidavit forms

Coverage limits shall comply with Emanuel County Schools' standard contractual requirements.

Emanuel County Schools reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities in the proposal process.
