REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR ASBESTOS ABATEMENT PROJECT

City of Jacksonville will receive sealed proposals for an asbestos abatement project. Scope of work:(1) 1521 E. Rusk Street, Jacksonville, Texas 75766 - approximately 45,400 s.f. of ACM flooring materials (1&2 layers) and fireproof doors (with ACM insulation). Proposals will only be considered from Texas licensed asbestos abatement contractors.

Bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at 1521 E. Rusk Street, Jacksonville, Texas. Prospective bidders must notify Melissa Mahannah at ERI Consulting, Inc. (For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address.) of their intention to attend the pre­ bid conference, to be assured of receiving a copy of the Plans and Specifications. Plans and Specifications may be obtained at the pre-bid conference for a non-refundable fee of$125.00 from the Project Consultant.

Proposals will be opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the office of Mr. Chris Silvey, 1220 S. Bolton, Jacksonville, Texas 75766. Bid, performance, and payment bonds are not required for this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and ail bids.
