The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Prosthetics and Orthotics Services for the Adults in Custody (AICs) at the Federal Medical Center, (FMC) Lexington, Kentucky.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339113 – Surgical Appliances and Supply Manufacturer. (Size Standard: 800 Employees). This solicitation is being issued as UNRESTRICTED.
The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The anticipated Effective Date of Award (EDOA) is October 1, 2025. The resulting contract will include a base year from the EDOA through 12 months from EDOA with four (4) possible 12-month option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The Government anticipates requiring specific prosthetics and orthotics appliances for the base period and the twelve month option periods. All appliances and services shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations.
The solicitation will be made available on or about June 06, 2025 and will be distributed solely through the SAM.gov Federal Business Opportunities website www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition.
