Request for Proposal

R.B. Simms Welcome Center Renovation

The Commissioners of Public Works of the City of Spartanburg South Carolina (herein referred

to as Spartanburg Water) will accept sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the renovation

of the Welcome Center located at the R.B. Simms Drinking Water Treatment Facility. Proposals

will be accepted at the address below until 2:00pm EST, Thursday, September 3, 2026. At that

time and location, they will be opened and read publicly via remote meeting. Responses received

after that time and date will not be accepted. Responses must be submitted in a sealed envelope

with the address of the proposer shown on the outside of the envelope.

A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 2:00pm EST on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. The

meeting is optional and not mandatory. The meeting will be held at the address below:
