Overview: The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for a qualifed contractor to provide on-call dumpster services at Iowa DOT's Main Complex in Ames, IA.
Scope: Provide on-call dumpster services for five 20-yard dumpsters at the locations indicated on the Ames Complex Dumpster Locations document (Attachment tab).
Award: It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: Meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance and work capacity.
Contract Period: The Contractor(s) will be awarded a one (1) year contract with an option to renew for (five) additional years in twelve (12) month increments.
ALL LINE ITEMS ARE TIED. The DOT will Award the contract by selecting either Base Bid line item 1 OR Base Bid Alternate line item 2.
Site Visits: A pre-bid site visit is

Contractors may visit the site by appointment only. Please provide a 24 hour notice before your requested visit date. Site visits must be conducted before the question cut off date.
Please post questions to ION Wave before the question cutoff deadline of 01/20/2025 at 4:30PM CT. Questions or requests for site visit received after this date and time will not be accepted. |
