RFB - 2026 Gas Chlorine

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites sealed bids for annual supply of gas chlorine for the Galesburg Water Division. Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m., local time, January 7, 2026, at the office of the Purchasing Agent located in City Hall, 55 West Tompkins Street, Galesburg, IL 61401; and at that time, publicly opened and read aloud in the Basement Conference Room, located in City Hall. Bid documents are available at the office of the Purchasing Agent or by visiting the city website at www.ci.galesburg.il.us. Resolution No. 90-74 requires Compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. The contract award shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg; price and other factors considered.
