Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE
Project # 671-25-006 Replace HVAC in Hemodialysis. Provide all necessary work and services to replace the HVAC systems for the 4 TH Floor Hemodialysis Unit of the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital as part of the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS). Work includes general construction, alterations, removal of existing utilities, and certain other items, as indicated on the project plans and specifications. The replacement HVAC Unit has been purchased and is on site. Adjacent areas to the work area must remain accessible for the duration of the project. The Contractor shall provide required barriers to restrict access into the construction area without limiting accessibility to adjacent areas. Protection against dust, fumes, odors, noise, etc. shall be required as to not disturb/disrupt nearby VA Staff or operations. Phasing plan may be required to ensure work is performed in areas that are not occupied and at times that minimize impact to patient care. For example, if any work is required outside of the interstitial mechanical rooms, other than public areas, it shall be coordinated with the COR. The intent of the project is to replace the existing HVAC system serving the Hemodialysis Unit. All incidental work associated with the general contracting, demolition, construction, and installation works in the exterior and interior of the building shall be included in the base bid.
