A. Barton Malow Builders requests Bid Proposals on behalf of Owner for the construction of
Fraser Public Schools 2023 Bond - BP#7: Edison & Eisenhower Renovations work. Bid
Proposals will be received:
1. By electronic delivery by 12 pm local standard time on 6-2-2026.
2. Electronic bids are to be submitted via Building Connected.
3. The public bid opening may be attended virtually at 12 pm local standard time on 6-2-
2026 via Microsoft Teams. Copy and paste the following Microsoft Teams Live Event

B. Proposals shall be based on the requirements set forth in the Barton Malow Builders project
manual dated May 11, 2026, and construction bidding documents prepared by Wakely
Associates Architects, project drawings and specifications dated May 11, 2026, for:
1. Bid Category: Mechanical
2. Bid Category: Boilers
3. Bid Category: Electrical
C. Bidding Documents will be available for examination and distribution on or after 12 pm local
standard time on May 12, 2026. Examination may be made at: Barton Malow Builders's Site
office, Building Connected, & CAM/Plan rooms.

F. Accepted Bidders will be required, as a condition precedent to award of Contract, to furnish,
satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and Certificates of Insurance as required
in the Project Manual
G. Project is subject to state sales and/or use taxes and Bidder is required to include such taxes in
its Bid Proposal.
H. Project is not subject to prevailing wage rates.

I. Barton Malow Builders has been contracted by the Owner in the capacity of Construction
Manager for the Project, and shall act as representative of the Owner to the extent
required/allowed under its Owner contract.

K. Bidders may be required to be pre-qualified to the requirements described in Document
002113 - Instructions to Bidders for this bid package by Barton Malow Builders before
document distribution or receipt of bids per the Instructions to Bidders. Barton Malow
Builders reserve the right to request qualification forms or additional information from any
Bidder before issuing Bidding Documents, receiving Bid Proposals or awarding the
Agreement.
L. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 002113 - Instructions to
Bidders and Document 003100 - Available Project Information.
M. Bid Proposals shall be on electronic forms furnished by Barton Malow Builders via
Building Connected. Bidders shall not withdraw or revoke Bid Proposals for a period of
90 Days after date for receipt of Bid Proposals.
N. Bidders will be required to submit with their Bid Proposals a Bid Security, in the amount of
5% of base bid, by a qualified surety authorized to do business in the state where the
Project is located.
O. Bidders with an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) greater than 1.0 may not be
considered for contract award.
P. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with Fraser Public Schools
on the AIA Document A132-2019 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and
Contractor, Construction Manager as Advisor Edition.
Q. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
