Description

This description summarizes the requirements for a high-performance, electric sit-down forklift and its supporting infrastructure to ensure a competitive and fair bidding process.



Equipment and Performance Specifications




  • Vehicle Type: 4-wheel electric sit-down counterbalanced forklift with a minimum 4,000 lb. lifting capacity.

  • Mast Assembly: Triple-stage mast with a maximum lift height of approximately 188", a collapsed height of 83", and a minimum free lift of 32".

  • Hydraulics and Attachment:

    • Integrated high-visibility sideshifting fork positioner.

    • 48" standard forks on a 38" wide carriage.

    • Two-function auxiliary hydraulics (4-lever/spool) with internal carriage plumbing.



  • Drivetrain and Steering: AC traction and hydraulic motors with on-demand electric steering and a specialized cooling package for high-demand (dock) performance.

  • Tires: Non-marking lugged cushion rubber tires on both drive and steer axles.



Power System and Charging




  • Battery: 36V Lead Acid battery (min. 1100AH) equipped with a wireless battery monitoring system (e.g., WiiQ or equivalent) to track health and cycles.

  • Charger: High-efficiency, 3-phase high-frequency charger (208/240V) compatible with the specified battery and monitoring system.

  • Configuration: Lift-out battery removal with standard door retainers and safety cutoff switches.



Ergonomics and Safety




  • Operator Compartment: Full-suspension vinyl seat with high-visibility orange seatbelt, integrated armrest with fingertip bionic controls, and dual square plastic mirrors.

  • Safety Features: Smart reverse travel alarm, forward and reverse blue floor spotlights, and LED front worklights mounted to the overhead guard.

  • Accessories: Includes an operator cooling fan and "Work Assist" storage bins/trays.



Fleet Management and Telematics




  • System: Integrated fleet management hardware with a minimum 7” touchscreen display.

  • Subscription: 60-month service contract for wireless monitoring, impact sensing, and operator checklists. The vendor is responsible for all initial activation and service fees associated with the 5-year term.

  • Delivery: Inclusive of freight to Oklahoma City, OK, local dealer delivery, and professional assembly.
