TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
The following questions were submitted by potential bidders. Our answers are listed below in
red.
1. Are the quantities listed in the Excel item list intended to represent the
estimated number of cases purchased per year? Yes, those are estimated
quantities.
2. Please confirm that bidders should rely solely on the written specifications
and requirements contained in the bid documents, and that no additional
assumptions should be made beyond what is written. Please bid based on
specifications and requirements provided in the bid documents.
3. Regarding the Disposable Paper and Plastics (RFQ) bid hoping you can
email me the list of delivery locations. Or is are the items delivered to just
one location (if so, what is the address). This is a county wide contract.
There will be various locations throughout Shelby County.
4. Do you have estimated quantities for this bid? Please refer to the excel
spreadsheet.
5. May I have the previous bid tabulations & itemized award report for this
commodity? Submit a public records request to
Publicrecords@shelbycountytn.gov.
6. Does the County intend to award this to one vendor in full, or by line item?
To be determined.
7. Approximately how many delivery locations will be utilizing the award of
this contract? There are various departments throughout Shelby County that
will utilize this contract. I cannot provide an approximate number.
8. Does each location have a loading dock and/or forklift? No
