NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the Parsippany-Troy Hills, in the County of Morris, State of New Jersey at the PURCHASING OFFICE, Municipal Building, 1001 Parsippany Boulevard, Parsippany, New Jersey, on THURSDAY, JULY 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM prevailing time, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read in public for:
Lake Hiawatha Pump Station Upgrade
A non-refundable fee of $75.00 will be required for each set of Bid Documents.
Specifications may be obtained at the Township Purchasing Office, 1001 Parsippany Boulevard, Parsippany, New Jersey, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily, except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
The Lake Hiawatha Pump Station is located at the end of Colony Court cul-de-sac in Parsippany, New Jersey 07054. The Contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, permits and services necessary to construct a new pump station, valve chamber and pipe work, including electrical construction and the demolition/decommissioning of the existing Lake Hiawatha Pump Station.
The Work required under the Contract shall consist of, but is not limited to, site preparation, transportation, delivery, excavation, geotechnical calculations, sheeting, dewatering, precast concrete wet well and valve pit construction, sewage pumps, piping and appurtenances, piping reconnections, existing pump station demolition/decommissioning, bypass pumping, transfer switch replacement, electrical work including coordination, start-up, testing, warrantees, guarantees, training and other work incidental to the full completion of the project.
The work required under the Contract shall be completed within three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
All bids must be enclosed in a SEALED envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the words “Lake Hiawatha Pump Station Upgrade.” Bid proposals must be addressed to the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, 1001 Parsippany Boulevard, Parsippany, NJ 07054, Attention: Purchasing Agent. Delivery of bids must be in person, by overnight courier, or by mail. No bids will be accepted if the arrive after the date and time specified above.
Bids for said contract must be based upon and in strict accordance with the aforesaid specifications.
Bidders must present a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate prior to the award of the contract if it is not submitted with the bid.
All bids must be made on the standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications.
A certified check or cashier’s check made payable to the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be submitted by the bidder.
The successful bidder shall be required to deliver to the Township an executed Performance Bond of the responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey.
Bidders are advised there is a Pre-Bid Meeting scheduled for June 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. The PreBid Meeting will be held at the Lake Hiawatha Pump Station located at the end of Colony Court adjacent to 10 Colony Court, Parsippany, NJ 07054. The Pre-Bid Meeting is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended that bidding parties attend. All other interested parties are invited to attend.

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
