Solicitation Summary
The purpose of this Request for Quote is to procure a software system that supports the accurate and timely maintenance of federally required migrant student information that will be uploaded to the
Migrant Student Information Exchange (MSIX) that is the Federal migrant student database.
The software system shall provide for the storage, retrieval, transmittal, reporting and other functions necessary to manage migrant student information for the Maryland Migrant Education Program (MD MEP)

Additional Instructions
The offeror shall provide and maintain a database management system that delivers accessible, accurate
and timely information related directly to the Maryland Migrant Education Program that will include data
sources for migrant families, children of migrant parents, required certification of eligibility, and state
authorization. The database management system must be accessible to field-based personnel, Local Education Agency (LEA) level personnel and state-level personnel, as well as compatibility for uploads to the Federal Migrant Database System known as MSIX.
