The City of Edmonton Non-Profit Housing Corporation, operating as HomeEd

HomeEd invites qualified demolition contractors to submit a stipulated price proposal for the complete demolition and site restoration of the Brightstar apartment building located at 10021 – 62 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.

The Work includes hazardous materials assessment and abatement, permits, utility disconnection verification, full structural demolition, removal of foundations, slabs, asphalt, below-ground pipes and infrastructure, debris removal, engineered backfill, compaction testing, final grading, sod installation, fencing, and all related environmental protection and safety requirements necessary to deliver a clean, stable, redevelopment-ready site.

The successful proponent will enter into a CCDC 2 (2020) Stipulated Price Contract, including Supplementary General Conditions and all referenced procurement documents. Technical submissions and pricing submissions are required in accordance with the solicitation documents. Proponents are encouraged to review the hazardous materials report included in the RFP package and conduct site visits during the bidding period using appropriate precautions.
