CCC Delta Center On-Site Counseling Services

The Center Counseling Program is a means of providing individuals and group counseling, workshops and staff consultation for Corpsmembers and staff for the California Conservation Corps Delta Center.

These counseling services are an effort to assist Corpsmembers and staff at the Delta Center, in exploring how they can contribute to their personal development.  They will be provided by a Counselor contracted by the Center.

The contracted counselor will work in conjunction with the Corpsmembers Development Staff and center staff in developing the overall design of the center counseling program, including a process for corpsmembers to access services and a schedule for workshops and trainings.  The Contracted Counselor should exercise their professional judgment to take the approach (such as crises counseling, short term brief therapy and ongoing progress monitoring) that best assists Corpsmembers and links Corpsmembers with community resources for longer term care and education/support activities.
