Membership in American's Essential Hospitals

Stony Brook University Hospital intends to obtain membership with America’s
Essential Hospitals. This membership will allow SBUH organization to conduct
research on promising practices and disseminating findings to members; tracking the
policy landscape for qualify improvement and patient safety at the national level;
providing educational experiences for members from leading experts on quality and
safety issues identifying individuals from its membership who are interested in
participating in strategic projects at the national level; developing relationships
partnerships with other health care organizations to support the needs of the safety
net members; contributing to the growing body of knowledge on performance
improvement, quality and patient safety science. If any vendor believes to be able
provide these services, is invited to contact the contract officer listed below to
discuss this opportunity prior to the due date stated in this advertisement.

This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, AKA the Lobbying Law.
Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this
procurement is the individual listed below. Failure to comply with this requirement
can range from no contract to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency. Successful
contractor shall be required to complete and submit documents related to Vendor
Responsibility, NYS Finance Law 139, NYS Tax Law Section 5-a, and valid/current
NYS Workers’ Compensation and Disability Forms
