2025 Community Impact Grants for Communities Exposed to Multiple Environmental Harms and Risks in New York State

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Office of Environmental Justice (OEJ) will make available $5,900,000 in funding for Environmental Justice Community Impact Grants to community-based organizations for projects that address exposure of communities to multiple environmental harms and risks (“projects”). Eligible applicants are not-for-profit (NFP) community-based organizations having 501(c)(3) status or a community-based organization may partner with a NFP that will serve as their fiscal sponsor. You must develop and electronically submit grant applications in the SFS Grants Management System no later than 3 p.m. on August 13, 2025. The maximum amount an applicant may request is $200,000.
