The Mission and Installation Contracting Command office at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA intends to award one (1) firm-fixed price contract for construction services providing security system upgrades as identified in the Statement of Work and relevant attachments, which are provided in this posting. Solicitation W911S825BA016 is issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) using the procedures outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14 as supplemented by the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and the Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS). This solicitation is set-aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) concerns. Project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work to be performed will be within the North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 236220 with a small business size standard of $45 Million. This project includes the procurement of ICIDS-V equipment components from authorized ICIDS Value Added Resellers only. Performance period will be 120 calendar days after the issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP). A site visit has been scheduled and the details are found at FAR Provision 52.236-27, Site Visit (Construction) (Alternate I), of the Standard Form (SF) 1442 IFB document. Attendance at said event is highly recommended but not mandatory.
