Brand Name Justification: APC-FY25-000417



The United States Marshals Service(USMS) will procure two(2) USED Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab Short Bed 4WD 4dr w/Max Trailering Commercial SUV (BUY AMERICAN). The procurement requires specific vehicle features including a Engine, 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management, Direct Injection and Variable Valve Timing, includes aluminum block construction (355 hp [265 kW] @ 5600 rpm, 383 lb-ft of torque [518 Nm] @ 4100 rpm) (STD), Engine air filtration monitor, 4-wheel Drive, Air Filter, heavy-duty, cooling, external engine oil cooler, and heavy-duty air-to-oil integral to driver side of radiator. Other required features such as remote entry/start, leather wrapped steering wheel, power features, safety technologies such as emergency braking and blind spot detection, and third-row power fold seats.



This brand name justification specifically targeting Chevrolet vehicles is to maintain fleet uniformity for the USMS. This special notification will be linked to the solicitation and will follow FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items and prohibits dealers from affixing any identification items such as decals or logos to the vehicles.
