Solicitation Summary

The purpose of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") is to obtain a qualified outdoor sculpture conservator to provide conservation, maintenance, cleaning, and rewaxing for thirteen (13) previously treated outdoor bronze and stone sculptural monuments and tablets. The contractor will coordinate treatment with the Maryland Military Monuments Commission (the "MMMC") based on the Scope of Services. All work will be performed in compliance with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties and the Code of Ethics of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works. All work is to be completed by no later than June 30, 2027 .

The Maryland Historical Trust ( MHT ), which operates in the Maryland Department of Planning, is seeking an individual or firm to provide services as outlined in the attached Request for Proposal ( RFP ). Offerors who meet the expertise and experience requirements and are interested in submitting a proposal to provide such services must submit a proposal to the Procurement Officer to the email address listed below. The emailed proposal must be received no later than 5:00 PM, Friday, May 1st, 2026 . Any proposal received after this date will not be accepted.
