This position is to support the work necessary to implement the Maryland State Department of Education’s Nonpublic Tuition Assistance Program.

Additional Instructions
The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Division of Early Intervention and Special Education Services (EI&SE) provides oversight, supervision, and direction for the Nonpublic Tuition Assistance Program (NTAP) which includes the NTAP Application process, data system, and cost approval process for the local education agencies (LEAs) and nonpublic special education schools. Additionally, the MSDE and EI&SE provides technical assistance, service coordination, collaborative problem solving, and high accountability to all stakeholders: LEAs, State agencies, and nonpublic special education schools (NSPs). The purpose of this RFQ is to find a consultant (full-time) who can assist the Nonpublic Tuition Assistance Program’s collaborative efforts with State agencies, LEAs, and NPSs with a focus on the annual cost approval process with NPSs. This consultant must meet all of the Requirements and be able to work up to 720 hours during the contract term.
