APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Resident Unit, Darwin (SADW) requires the use of two 4x4 sports utility vehicle (SUV) type vehicles which can handle both rough terrain and high temperatures. The purpose of this requirement is to obtain non-tactical vehicle (NTV) transportation services for NCIS in order for special agents to carry out assigned missions and complete training around Darwin and other areas throughout Australia. NCIS agents in the SADW require two 4x4 SUVs that provide off-road, passenger-carrying capability as well as the ability to transport cargo in a secure and covered vehicle. The NTV suspension design and all-wheel drive is more capable for high ground clearance, making it more suitable for the many potentially challenging rough roads and flooded areas in the region. These NTV leases will include Australia-wide 24/7 roadside assistance and are approved for use in all states, which is imperative for agent mobility around the country. These leased vehicles have unlimited kilometers and no geographical restrictions, having the ability to drive on or off-road (including on the interstate, military bases, military training areas, air-side, remote off-shore islands via barge transport, etc.). (See attached RFQ for more information).
