Summary

Seeking quotes for uniform rental/lease for employees who perform work in the areas of roadway maintenance, facility maintenance, parks maintenance and mosquito control. The quote will be for approximately 187 employees (Public Works -135, Facility Maintenance - 25, Parks Maintenance - 20, Mosquito Control- 7). Each employee will be issued 5 sets of uniforms with one set being considered one (1) shirt and one (1) pant. The uniforms will be laundered by each employee with the ability to exchange for repair/replacement by the leasing company as needed on a one for one basis. The shirt should be of a lightweight, breathable cotton or cotton/polyester blend or best equivalent. The shirt must be available in both long and short sleeve and come in sizes small to 5 XL tall. Light grey in color with pockets and have county emblem patch on left breast above pocket. The pants should be lightweight, breathable, but durable Carhartt dungarees or best equivalent. Pants should come in varies inseams and sizes up to a size 52" waist. Khaki/ light brown in color for all pants.



Background

Due to the physical and outdoor nature of these job functions, employees require durable, professional, and standardized uniforms that provide comfort, safety, and a consistent public appearance. The County intends to establish a uniform lease agreement under which uniforms will be issued to employees and maintained through a vendor-supported repair and replacement program.

The anticipated number of participating employees is approximately 187 across the identified divisions. The County seeks a vendor capable of providing sizing, issuance, emblem application, and ongoing one-for-one replacement of uniforms as needed throughout the contract term.
