Objective: McDuffie County Fire/EMS are seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors who can provide the items listed below with a minimum of 1 year warranty. These sealed bids may be mailed or dropped off at 210 Railroad Street Thomson, Georgia 30824 by Friday, September 26, 2025 @2:00 p.m. local time.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work described below will be for the purchase of and installation of a 300 kW Blue Star Generator, 277/480 volt, three phase, PMG, 60 Hz as well as automatic transfer switch and accessories, to be installed at Sweetwater Park.
Scope of Work

This scope of work shall include the delivery of all equipment, the offloading of equipment, installation of exhaust system, using a test system after installation by others, onsite training, NFPA 110 start up. Four-hour load bank test, one hundred gallon test fuel, concrete pad, conduit, wiring, and a crane. The scope of work that isn’t included in this could be a tank full of diesel fuel and a type of fence for the equipment.

2. Vendor must be able to provide all equipment to submit a bid.
3. Vendor must provide an available delivery and installation date.
