TIME AND PLACE OF OPENING OF BIDS:
Sealed proposals for the improvement described below will be received at the office of the Village of Gurnee, Engineering Division, 325 N. O’Plaine Road, Gurnee, Illinois 60031, until 10:30 A.M., September 29th, 2025. Proposals will be opened and read publicly at that time.

Scope of work includes 310 Feet of 12 inch storm pipe installation, 40 Feet of 30 inch RCP, pipe removal, inlet installs, reditching, Hot Mix Asphalt driveway and roadway R&R, tree removal, and brush removal at multiple locations within the Village.
BIDDERS INSTRUCTIONS:

Plans and proposal forms will be available in the office of the Village of Gurnee, 325 N. O’Plaine Road, Gurnee, Illinois 60031 for a non-refundable cost of $25.

The Contractor must abide by the articles included in the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130).

The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Check Sheet LRS 6 of the “Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions,” prepared by the Department of Transportation. The contractor is not required to provide a guarantee in accordance with Sheet LRS 6.
