Project Description: The Bernalillo County Procurement & Business Services Department on behalf of the Public Works Division Technical Services Department is currently requesting sealed bids from prospective bidders for Cortez Drive/Bridge Boulevard Improvements.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
• Remove the Bridge Boulevard westbound slip lane.
• Revise the existing southbound connect lane (connects Tower Road and Bridge Boulevard) from a one-way southbound lane to a two-way travel lane, including impacted drainage and signing.
• The addition of a deceleration lane along westbound Tower Road (adjacent to pocket park) to accommodate northbound access to the revised southbound connect lane.
• Revise the Bridge Boulevard/Cortez Drive intersection to include a raised median to reduce vehicular and large truck traffic along Cortez Drive.
• Install a dedicated left turn along Bridge Boulevard in front of Catholic Charities.
