Description
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) located in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, requires the services of a qualified contractor to calibrate various laboratory equipment on a regular basis, as specified in the table in the Appendix – Basis of Payment.
Requirements
The contractor must calibrate the equipment according to the following specifications:
• Calibration standard: Calibrate each item of equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and specifications.
• Calibration stickers: Affix a calibration sticker to each item of equipment following its calibration.
• Calibration schedule: The contractor must establish a calibration schedule with the Technical Authority for each item of equipment listed in Table 1. Each item of equipment must be calibrated within 11 to 13 months from the date of its last calibration as specified in Table 1. If there is no date of last calibration for a specific item of equipment in Table 1, or if the 13th month has passed when the contract is awarded, the calibration will be performed according to a date mutually agreed upon by the contractor and the Technical Authority as specified in the contract.
• Authorization: Each calibration or repair visit must be pre-approved by the Technical Authority.
• Addition or removal of equipment: The CSA reserves the right to reduce or increase the number of items of equipment to be calibrated identified in the list during the term of the contract. Any equipment removed from the list will be identified by the Technical Authority and the updated list will be provided to the contractor. The contractor must also be informed of any additional equipment to be calibrated. All changes will be confirmed by way of a contract amendment.
• Equipment repair: In the event that an item of equipment requires repair, the contractor will provide the Technical Authority with a quote including the costs of materials, labour and supplies for such repair.
The estimated contract period will be 60 month(s).
