Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Keywords: Bridge Repair and Construction Bid Description: TOWN OF CABOT FEMA CONTRACT 3 – MENARD ROAD AND MACK MOUNTAIN ROAD General Notice The Town of Cabot (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: FEMA CONTRACT 3 – MENARD ROAD AND MACK MOUNTAIN ROAD Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Town Municipal Offices located at 3084 Main Street, Cabot, Vermont 05647, until February 10, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The final decision on award will be completed by the Selectboard at a subsequent meeting. The Project includes the following Work: Menard Road. Removal of existing temporary bridge, installation of pipe arch with stone block head/wingwalls, roadway construction and associated work. Mack Mountain Road. Removal of existing temporary bridge, installation of precast concrete box culvert, roadway construction, and associated work. The Project has a contractual duration of 60 days to substantial completion (excluding structure procurement). The construction cost estimate range is $1,000,000 to $1,500,000. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: East Engineering, PLC Richmond, Vermont Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine or purchase the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday, by appointment only. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. PDF sets of the Bidding Documents are available free of charge. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying $50 for each set (non-refundable). Pre-bid Conference A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on January 21, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at the Menard Road Site on (approximately 100 yards north of the intersection with Danville Hill Road at coordinates 44.405435, -72.293472). Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. Instructions to Bidders.
