American Psychological Association - Notice of Intent to Sole Source

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT.

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office- West, Brook Army Medical Center (BAMC), intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to the American Psychological Association., 750 First Street, N.E. Washington, DC 20002-4242, under the authority 41 U.S.C. 1901, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Only one source is reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization.

The purpose of this FY25 requirement is to contract for American Psychological Association Programs to the Department of Behavioral Health at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Award will be on or about 1 August 2025. This service requirement is commercial in nature and will be a firm-fixed price contract.

The period of performance will be from 1 August 2025 through 31 July 2026

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. no request for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for APA servics. the Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available.
