The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a single source basis to NovaWorks for GoXBRL licenses and support. The contracting officer has determined that NovaWorks is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC’s requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b). The software publisher has a commercial of the shelf product with little to no competition that will provide the SEC a desktop tool for end users who do not have extensive technical XBRL expertise to create sample SEC filings in XBRL format and support of internal development and testing of various SEC systems.
The period of performance for the purchase order is anticipated to be a one (1) year base period and nine (9), one (1) year Option Periods and the total value of the order shall be below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.
The SEC intends to award a purchase order to NovaWorks on or about August 20, 2025. This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of this notice.
