The City of Warner Robins will receive sealed bids for the materials, labor, equipment, technical knowledge and service to maintain the publicly-owned Stormwater Ponds throughout the City.  The initial contract term will begin July 1, 2026 and end June 30, 2027. The contract shall automatically renew for up to four (4) successive one (1) year terms, unless either party provides written notice of its intent not to renew at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the current term. Prices are to remain firm for a period of one (1) year.
Contract and service specifications are provided in Attachment #1 (SW-4588 Scope of Work). Submission of a bid constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of all service specifications and contract conditions included therein.
Each prospective bidder must upload and submit their bid with all required documents through the City’s IonWave procurement system by the designated date and time of Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM (ET).
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 at 10:00 AM (ET) in the Carolyn Robbins Conference Room, City Hall, 700 Watson Boulevard, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
All questions must be submitted through the City's IonWave procurement system by Monday, April 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM (ET).
All ponds are to be maintained once (1) per month from March through September, and then again in November and January, for a total of nine (9) times per pond, per year. The City maintains the right to amend this schedule as needed, with proper compensation to be awarded as required.
The successful bidder must give satisfactory evidence to the City of Warner Robins that they carry Workers' Compensation, in accordance with State Worker's Compensation Laws, and public liability and property damage insurance in sufficient amounts to ensure adequate coverage of the work. See section 18 of the General Instructions to Bidders, Terms and Conditions under the Attributes tab.
The following link provides a map that includes the location of each City-Owned pond: Map of Stormwater Ponds . Please note that only the ponds marked by a purple label are included in the scope of this bid.  Attachment #1 (SW-4588 Scope of Work) also provides a listing of the ponds included in this bid. Bidders are required to visit each project site prior to submitting a bid.
The awarded contractor must coordinate a schedule with a Stormwater Compliance Department representative and be able to begin work within 30 days of contract award.
The bid, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid will be most advantageous to the City of Warner Robins, price, availability and other factors considered. The City of Warner Robins reserves the right to accept none, all, or any part of the bid, and to waive all formalities.
