Solicitation Summary
The Division of Special Education is seeking an expert or team with expertise in conflict resolution and/or early dispute resolution to provide statewide training on reducing, managing, and resolving conflict between schools and families during the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. The overall goal of the training would be to help LEAs engage with families in a manner that lessens conflict over special education services.

The MSDE is the State Education Agency (SEA) for Maryland and has determined that assistance is required with the provision of statewide training and technical assistance for school and LEA staff on conflict reduction and management.
