The Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) announces Transport Canada's intent to award a contract for tire testing services to Smithers Rapra. The initiative aligns with Canadian regulations and international standards, addressing safety and environmental considerations, including greenhouse gas reduction and fuel efficiency improvements. The estimated contract value is $360,000 CAD over three years, starting April 1, 2025, with Smithers Rapra pre-identified due to their unique expertise, testing capabilities, and compliance experience.
