Online bids for improvements to the Gardner Municipal Airport (K34) will be received by the City of Gardner,
KS through QuestCDN at www.hwlochner.com until bid closing on Friday, May 1st, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. Bid
results will be available through QuestCDN at www.hwlochner.com within one hour after the bidding closes. A
virtual reading of the bids is available for all prospective bidders thirty (30) minutes after the bids are due. The
reading will be held via Microsoft Teams. You are not required to have Microsoft Teams to attend the virtual
reading of the bids as you are able to access the meeting via the online Microsoft Teams program. To receive

A digital download of Project Documents and other related contract information may be ordered online at
www.hwlochner.com. These project documents may be downloaded for $60.00. Payment must be made directly
to QuestCDN. This cost includes access to online bidding. There will be no refunds. The QuestCDN project
number is 10026715. Bid quantities and schedules may be viewed prior to purchase under the “view bid
documents” section on QuestCDN.
Plans and Specifications are on file and may be examined at the office of the Gardner City Hall and office of the
Public Works Director, 120 E Main Street, Gardner, Kansas, 66030.
Each online bid submittal must include a PDF copy of a Bid Bond executed by a Surety Company in an amount
not less than five (5) percent of the total bid made payable to the City of Gardner, KS and uploaded to
QuestCDN as part of the bid submittal process.
The Bidder must supply all the information required by the proposal forms and specifications and must bid on
all items of every schedule. The City of Gardner, KS reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject
any or all portions of, the various bid items. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days
from the opening thereof.
A non-mandatory in-person pre-bid meeting will be on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. (CDT) at the
Gardner City Hall, 120 E Main Street, Gardner, Kansas, 66030. Following the pre-bid meeting, prospective
bidders will have the opportunity to tour the project site.

The maximum construction time allowed for Schedule(s) I and II will not be more than 21 calendar days.
Permitting the Contractor to continue and finish the work or any part of it after the time fixed for its completion,
or after the date to which the time for completion may have been extended, will in no way operate as a wavier
on the part of the Owner of any of its rights under the contract.
