Project Description: This solicitation is IN LIEU of Solicitation # UDOT270043JB.
Due to inadequate information in the Scope of Work (Attachment B) and Attachment C cost sheet regarding ECCO Brand Light Bars, it has been determined that no bidders for the previous solicitation could submit a responsive or comparable bid in full compliance to the requirements of the solicitation. A single contract for Federal Signal light bars will be awarded for the first solicitation UDOT270043JB. It is anticipated that a single contract will be awarded for ECCO Brand Light Bars through solicitation UDOT270043JB-1 IN LIEU OF to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

This Invitation for Bids "IFB" is issued in accordance with State of Utah Procurement Code and the Utah Administrative Code. If any provision of this IFB conflicts with the Utah Procurement Code or the Utah Administrative Code, then Utah Procurement Code and then Utah Administrative Code will take precedence.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a Single-Award agency contract for Utah Department of Transportation, Equipment Operations Division through UDOT Division of Purchasing.
The UDOT Procurement Services Division is the issuing procurement unit and UDOT Equipment Operations is the conducting procurement unit for this IFB (referred to as “the State”). The reference number for this IFB is Solicitation #UDOT270043JB-1. This solicitation number must be referred to on all bids, correspondence, and documentation submitted to the State relating to this IFB.
The documents included within this solicitation are intended to provide interested bidders with sufficient information to enable the bidder to determine if they can provide as per the outlined requirements.
