ADVERTISEMENT
NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:
Sealed bids on the “2026 CURRIE PKWY. BRIDGE TOUCH-UP PAINT; CONTRACT NO. 14”, will be
received in the office of the City Clerk, in the City Hall, 333 West Ellsworth Street, Midland, Michigan
48640 until 2:00 p.m., August 25, 2026, after which time no further bids will be received. All bids will
be publicly opened and read at this time and place. Bids will be tabulated and and it is anticipated
that a contract will be subsequently awarded.
CONTRACT NO. 14 is for the touch-up painting of the Currie Parkway Bridge, located at the
intersection of Currie Parkway and the Tittabawassee River.
Bid documents are available for download at Bidnet Direct by SOVRA/MITN Purchasing Group.
Registration is required to view and download bid package and specifications; follow link at
https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn. Information can also be obtained directly from the Purchasing
Department which is part of the Finance Department at City Hall, Midland, MI or by emailing
purchasing@midland-mi.org.
Technical questions should be emailed to Shane Bjorge (sbjorge@midland-mi.org) no later than
August 19, 2026. Questions will be answered via Addenda, which will be posted to
https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn. Signed addendums should be included with bid submittals.
The City reserves the right to reject a bid for failure to acknowledge receipt of any addenda.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or defects, and
may accept other than the low bid when deemed in the City’s best interest.
