Redding DPW Generator, Transfer Switch & Fuel System Replacement

The purpose of this project is to replace the Redding Department of Public Works generator system, transfer switch and fuel system to power the facility during times of lost utility power. Remove and dispose of existing equipment and fittings. Provide new 40kW generator with integrated 100 gallon diesel fuel cell and transfer switch, to be installed in the same location as the existing generator and transfer switch. Furnish and install all required equipment and fittings for installation of appliances. Test all systems for functionality and compliance with CT Building Code and Manufacturer’s Installation Instructions and Recommendations.
