This request for proposal (RFP) is being issued for the purpose of implementing SB 188, an Act relating to patient access to pharmacy benefits passed during the 2024 legislative session. This bill requires the Department of Insurance to perform a study in order to determine the average cost to dispense a prescription drug in an ambulatory pharmacy located in Kentucky. This study is to be repeated every two (2) years. The first study must be completed prior to January 1, 2027.
