Description

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (“CMHC”) is the Government of Canada’s National Housing Agency, with a mandate to help Canadians gain access to a variety of affordable housing options. It is a Crown Corporation, with a Board of Directors, reporting to Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada.

With this RFP CMHC is seeking prospective proponents to submit proposals for:

• scanning and assessing our SAS EG environment,

• create a comprehensive list of SAS EG processes,

• suggest an appropriate modern conversion, and

• convert existing processes to be used within our Databricks environment (PySpark, R, SQL)

As further described in Section A and B of the RFP Specifications (Appendix C). It is CMHC’s intention to enter into an agreement on a non-exclusive basis with the successful proponent. The term of the agreement resulting from this RFP is to be for a period of up to 3 years (see Appendix C). CMHC plans to migrate and convert all active processes out of SAS by the end of 2029 in 3-4 waves.
