University of Calgary
The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to purchase a Convertible Anatomage Virtual Cadaver Table, Hard Cover Table Protector and five year warranty from Anatomage Inc.
The Cumming School of Medicine MD Program requires a virtual real-human based 3D anatomy medical education system as an alternative to cadaveric-based anatomy teaching. This life-size platform provides a ‘plug and play’ experience that recreates the current small group, case-based anatomy teaching without the use of human remains. Allowing the exploration of real human anatomy, physiology and pathology. The table is programmable with ability to be personalized to the specific needs of the curriculum with no ongoing subscription requirements.

To the universities’ knowledge, Anatomage Inc. is the sole Canadian distributor that can provide a system that meets all the criteria needed by the School of Medicine.
