UGA SKIO Sewer Line Repair

The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, Owner, will receive sealed bids from contractors electronically via the Jaggaer Sourcing Director online bidding tool. Electronic bids must be submitted, by 10:00 AM Legally Prevailing Time in Athens, Georgia on Thursday, December 4, 2025 for the construction of UGA SKIO Sewer Line Repair. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK:Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to perform and complete the SKIO Sewer Line Repair. All work shall be executed in full compliance with the specifications outlined in the "SKIO Sewer Line Repair Specifications", "Bypass Specs", "CCTV Specs", "CIPP Specs", and "Sewpercoat Specs".
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond executed by the bidder and surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia, in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the base bid. Said bond will be returned to unsuccessful bidders as soon as the Contract between the Owner and the successful bidder has been executed by the Owner.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT:  There will be a pre-bid conference held on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m., at UGA Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, 10 Ocean Science Circle, Savannah, GA 31411. Attendance at this conference is MANDATORY for any General Contractor intending to bid on this project. All prospective bidders shall have a representative to attend and participate in a tour of the work site conducted by the Owner¿s Representative. Failure to attend the mandatory site visit is basis for rejection of bid. Sub-Contractors and others may attend if they so desire.
Single Preferred but Split-Award Possible: The primary intent of this RFQ is to identify a single source (lowest priced, responsive and responsible supplier) to provide all of the needed goods and/or services; however, the University of Georgia reserves the right to make split awards.
