FLAT CREEK WRF PRIMARY CLARIFIERS ANDSOLIDS TREATMENT TRAIN UPGRADES PROJECT

CITY OF GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA

The City of Gainesville is requesting proposals for the Flat Creek WRF Primary Clarifiers and Solids Treatment Train Upgrades Project. The project consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to construct the Flat Creek WRF Primary Clarifiers and Solids Treatment Train Upgrades Project improvements and related appurtenances. The improvements consists of the following major elements: Demolition of existing DAF No. 1 building, alum storage, and recycle clarifier. Construction of two 100 ft diameter primary clarifiers and associated odor control structure, alum containment area, and thickened WAS facility. Retrofit of existing DAF No. 2 building into two 55 ft diameter primary clarifiers with associated odor control structure. Installation of new covers on the existing sludge blend tanks and flow distribution box. Electronic Contract Documents may be obtained, beginning on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from Quest CDN. A mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at the Flat Creek WRF at 2641 Old Flowery Branch Rd, Gainesville, Georgia 30504, on Thursday October 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., local time. Sealed Proposals will be received at the Department of Water Resources Engineering and Construction Services Division, 757 Queen City Parkway, Gainesville, GA 30501, 1st Floor until 2:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, October 31, 2024.
