(the “Health Authority”), through their agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide
two (2) Cardiac Recording System (Xper)
for
Surrey Memorial Hospital
for an estimated value of $ 474,490.34.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements

, as agent for
the Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason :
-
to ensure compatibility with existing products/systems
SMH expansion project includes 2 net new Cath labs which require a new Hemodynamic at
a second FHA site which will be connecting to the existing Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) XPER information Management (XIM)
. Hence the purchase of this system
facilitates more efficient data access, sharing, and reporting across different departments, leading to improved workflow efficiency and clinical decision-making.
