Former Norton Paper Mill Remediation Project - EXTENSION

The Town of Colchester, Connecticut (“Town”) is soliciting sealed bids for qualified contractors to perform environmental remediation services at 139 Westchester Road, (Route 149), Colchester, Connecticut. The Work for the project generally consists of the removal and disposal of contaminated soils, the removal and disposal of petroleum-impacted concrete, the placement and compaction of clean soil and restoration of all disturbed areas, and repair and/or reinstallation of monitoring wells at the Project Site. Sealed bids with the words “SEALED BID – 139 WESTCHESTER ROAD – REMEDIATION PROJECT” clearly marked outer envelope must be received by Bernard Dennler, First Selectman, Town of Colchester 127 Norwich Road, Colchester, CT 06415 no later than 2:00 PM on Friday, 1/9/2025 A mandatory pre-bid walk-through will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, 11/20/2024 at the Project Site. Only those Bidders that attend the walk-through will be qualified to bid on the Project.
