Public Notice of Advertisement (PNA) to Issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
The purpose of the PNA is to inform the Consultant community of the upcoming RFQ opportunity. Full
scope of work, instructions and requirements for the upcoming RFQ are to be posted as indicated
below in the anticipated schedule*. No questions or submittals are due during the PNA.

Project Description: Environmental Support Services for three (3) Contracts:
Contract 1 - NEPA, Air Quality, Noise and Public Involvement
Contract 2 - Cultural Resources
Contract 3 - Ecology
Summary of Scope of Work for Contracts 1, 2 and 3:
Contract 1- NEPA, Air Quality, Noise and Public Involvement
The selected Consultant will provide "Support Services" for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT),
Office of Environmental Services (OES), in the Areas of NEPA, Air Quality, Noise and Public Involvement.
"Support Services" includes conducting quality assurance reviews of documents related to compliance with the
National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Georgia Environmental Policy Act (GEPA), and environmental
permitting, tracking the status of environmental tasks to ensure adherence to baseline schedules, and updating
GDOT databases. In addition, the selected firm will assist with public involvement activities as required.

IMPORTANT - A RESTRICTION OF COMMUNICATION IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS PROJECT.
From the advertisement date of this Public Notice Announcement, through the posting of the RFQ, until
successful respondents are selected and the award is made official and announced, firms are not
allowed to communicate about this PNA/RFQ Solicitation or scope with any staff of GDOT including the
Commissioner and GDOT Board Members, except for the submission of questions as instructed in the
upcoming Request for Qualifications, with the contact designated in the PNA/RFQ or as provided by any
existing work agreement(s). For violation of this provision, GDOT reserves the right to reject the
submittal of the offending respondent.
