This project involves tree removal and trimming along various streets within the City of Shasta Lake. There are approximately 226 trees to be removed and 30 trees to be trimmed. Additional items of work include erosion and sediment control and temporary traffic control. The engineers estimate for this work is $857,250.00.

Qualifications:

All Contractors and Subcontractors shall possess appropriate Contractor’s Licenses for their trade at the time the contract is awarded.

Special Requirements:

To be considered qualified to perform the work outlined in these Contract Documents, the Contractor shall have specific experience with similar tree and shrub removal and trimming operations. Contractor shall, upon City’s request, provide written documentation of at least 3 years experience with similar tree removal projects. The Contractor must be a qualified line clearance tree trimmer per DIR Title 8 Section 2951.1 – Line Clearance (Tree Trimming) Operations and shall provide proof of certification.

Miscellaneous:

A prebid conference is scheduled between staff and interested bidders at City of Shasta Lake City Hall, 4477 Main Street, Shasta Lake, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., at which time the project will be reviewed. All interested bidders are encouraged to attend.
