BID NOTICE
The City of St. Ann is currently accepting sealed bids for the reconstruction of Pear Tree
Lane, Country Lane and a portion of Douglass Ct., Federal Aid Project STBG 5401 (722) in
St. Ann, Missouri. Sealed bids will be accepted until 10:00 am CST on Friday, May 15,
2026 when they will be publicly opened. Bids must be submitted to the Office of the City
Clerk, 10405 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, MO 63074. All bids must be submitted in
paper form.

must be marked on the outside of the envelope.
Bid packets and plans, in the form of “.pdf” electronic files on a compact disk (CD) will be
available at the St. Ann City Hall, City Clerk's Office, beginning May 1, 2026. When picking
up or receiving a bid packet CD, you will be required to provide your name, email address
and company information on a bidder's list record in order to receive official bidding
communications and addenda. Communications between the bidders and the City shall be
conducted and documented in writing through the use of email communication to
rmeyer@stannmo.org. No oral interpretation will be provided or recognized.
All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less
than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as
established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or
state wage rate, whichever is higher.
The City of St Ann hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any
contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by
socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to
submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the
grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration
for an award.”
All bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri
Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2011 Edition including all revisions. The
contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening.
Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works project
provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the
Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees
within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project.
A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with
each proposal.
The DBE Goal for this project is 0%.
No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.
This project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
