The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is an organization dedicated to delivering smart science solutions that grow and strengthen Saskatchewan’s economy, while providing unparalleled service to clients and colleagues. SRC does this through research, development and the transfer of innovative scientific and technical solutions, applications and services. This is not only SRC’s mission, but also its compass for determining the best business approaches for the organization and its clients.
Assessing SRC’s economic impact, including social-economic impact, to Saskatchewan demonstrates the value of the Province’s investment.

4.4.1 Task 1 – Assess and Validate Changes to SRC’s Economic Impact Assessment Methodology
• The selected proponent will be responsible for reviewing and assessing SRC’s planned changes to our Economic Impact Assessment (EIA) methodology. The selected proponent is expected to validate the planned changes and to identify opportunities for further process improvement or optimization.
• This task will include, at minimum, a meeting (in-person or virtual) with SRC staff to discuss the updated EIA methodology and expectations for Task 1, a review of SRC’s documentation detailing the existing EIA methodology and planned changes and producing a report that includes conclusions and recommendations based on this assessment.
• Reporting Deliverables for Task 1: Conclusions and recommendations.
4.4.2 Task 2 – Develop Measures and Methodologies for Social-Economic Impact
• The selected proponent is expected to develop measures and methodological approaches for SRC’s social-economic impact in the province of Saskatchewan. These measures and methodological approaches should align with SRC strategies such as the Sustainability Framework and Indigenous Relations Strategy, as well as the updated EIA methodology.
• This task will include, at minimum, a meeting (in-person or virtual) with SRC staff to discuss the goals and outcomes of the Sustainability Framework and Indigenous Relations Strategy that will inform the impact assessment measures and methodologies, expectations for Task 2, and producing a report that includes conclusions and recommendations.
• Reporting Deliverables for Task 2: Conclusions and recommendations.
