WWTP REHABILITATION CONTRACT 2 - REHABILITATE STEEL SEWAGE TANK

Project Description: SANITARY SEWER AUTHORITY OF THE BOROUGH OF SHICKSHINNY 908 LOOP TRAIL ROAD MONCANAQUA, PA 18655 WWTP REHABILITATION - CONTRACT 2 - REHABILITATE STEEL SEWAGE TANK LUZERNE COUNTY, PA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the WWTP REHABILITATION - CONTRACT 2 - REHABILITATE STEEL SEWAGE TANK will be received online via the PennBid Program, by the Sanitary Sewer Authority of the Borough of Shickshinny, until 11:00 A.M local time on December 4 , 2024 at which time the Bids received will be opened electronically and publicly posted on PennBid’s website, shortly after which a notice will be posted on PennBid containing the bid results. The Project consists of Sandblasting and Painting of Existing Steel Tank, Debris Removal and installation of Cathodic Protection as described in the Summary of Work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a Lump Sum basis as indicated as indicated in the Online Bid Form. All bidding documents are available at no cost at (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.) A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: PA Prevailing Wages Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, gender, creed, color, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, disability, national origin, or age. The Labor Standards and Anti-Kickback regulations (29 CFR, Part 3) issued by the Secretary of Labor are included in the contract documents of this project and govern all work under the contracts. Attention is called to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, 12 USC 179 LU and the Section 3 clause and regulations set forth in 24 CFR, Part 135. In compliance with Executive Order 11625 and 12138, the successful bidder must utilize to the greatest extent feasible, minority and/or women-owned businesses located in the municipality, county or general trade area.
